Celeste moved her arms up and around Tarnelius’ neck, while his dropped to her waist. They deepened the kiss, their tongues exploring each other’s mouth and twisting together in an erotic tango. Tarnelius moaned into her mouth in pure rapture. She trembled from the sheer emotion of it all. She knew that if elves died when they had nothing more to live for, she and Tarnelius would live for an eternity because they had each other. This was truly their happily ever after. He broke off the kiss and inched back, trying to catch his breath and running his hands up and down her body in a delicious caress. “Don’t stop,” she spoke inside his head. “Don’t ever stop.” “Celeste, my angel. Don’t ask me that now. I will never be able to refuse you. Come on, I’m sure the others are spying on us out here, and I want our first time to be in private, not out here in the open where anyone could interrupt us.” She leaned forward, offering her lips to him, pressing her body completely flush against his. He gave in and tried to give her only a brief kiss, but she reached up and tangled her hands into his golden hair, holding him against her. She moaned as she felt him straining against her and shivered as he caressed her wings. He felt his control slipping as he kissed her with all the desperation of a starving man. They needed to get themselves under control or he would take her right there. When he felt her shiver he pulled back once more, running his hands again over her wings. She licked her lips and closed her eyes, breathing heavily. “Does that feel good, Angel?” “Mmm,” she answered. He gave her a devilish grin as he stroked her feathery wings. “I had no idea your wings were so sensitive. Come on, we need to get inside. We’ll have an eternity to get to know each other intimately, starting tonight. I promise I will always be exactly what you need, Celeste.”

  dwreview
(I thought maybe we could put something like: See what readers are saying about Destiny’s Wings! Or something like that) “A good book makes you want to live in the story; a great book leaves no choice.” – A quote that fully applies here! I am immediately sucked into this story, wanting to know more about the characters and their world. What I love about this particular novel is the way the descriptive is worked into the goings on and conversations of the book, rather than separate. It makes for easier reading, easier following and is less time consuming. A refreshing writing style! Another thing that impresses me, being submerged in a work of fantasy is the author’s objective view of humans. Since the POV is largely given from elven folk, we are treated to a look at what we truly are: selfish, loud, and destructive. I even felt relieved to see the relationship between good and evil explained; without spoiling anything I will simply state that the author has a rare and valuable sense of understanding of the things that most humans do not. In reading this book with your mind open even just a little you may see what I mean and come away enlightened. Worst-case scenario: you enjoy a fun escape from reality as you become submerged into the story. The story is immensely exciting from start to finish but also manages to keep the human aspect alive with each character and their relationships with others. Action, drama, just the right amount of love combined with a classic good versus bad element make this an impossible-to-put-down read. Busy as I am, I still read in one session as I just couldn’t stop. I’m now waiting for the next one – very impatiently. - Lacia Carabas

Synopsis

246.

That's the number of women I've shagged in the last twelve months.

I'm Ryder Stevens.

Don't pretend you don't know me. I'm a god.

I'm hot, I'm British and I take what I want. I'm also the number one ranked tennis player in the world. But it's my off court antics that gain the most attention. I cruise through life, running from one scandal to the next. Hell I can't even take a piss without the world knowing about it.

Rules? Who gives a shit?

Rules are there to be broken and I'm the king of breaking them.

But even the king can be bought to his knees. I'm sidelined with an injury that changes everything.

Maybe my life isn't so perfect after all...

Review

I have been desperate to read WildCard, since I saw Missy Johnson was going to be releasing a book about a world class Tennis playing BadBoy. In books authors generally write about Football players, swimmers and "ball" players. I loved having one of my favourite authors write a book incorporating a sport I love, a sexy BadBoy and a good love story all I one book.
I thought Wild Card  was going to be a full length novel. When I got the book and found out that the books was going to be in 3 short stories I was slightly disappointed. Luckily once I read book 1, I fell in love with  all the characters and the story left me wanting more, I was glad to find out that there wasn't going to be big waiting times in between the next books. Book 2 is released 22nd September and book 3 is being released on 6th October. (These dates could change by the author at any time though)I think Missy did a good job at making sure the releases dates were close together so people wouldn't be put off buying books with Hugh waiting times in between.
Ryder Stevens is the BadBoy of Tennis. He's at the very too if his game, which he is very arrogant about. He may be at the too of his games, but he doesn't take his Tennis seriously anymore. Off the court he's always out drinking, partying, sleeping around and doing anything bad he can think off., even before championship final games.

" I can do what I want, I'm Ryder Stevens"
"In my world everything was about me"

Ryder doesn't care about rules, his mantra are "Rules are meant to be broken" He pushes and pushes and doesn't listen to anybody. So the night before he's big match Ryder does what Ryder does and had women over and wanted some female attention. Everything was going well until he slips and ends up badly injured. Ryder's not just hurt, he's completely embarrassed too.  He realises very quickly that Tennis career is going to be over for quite awhile and he has no idea what to do now.

"Not being at your best, when your best is what you're known for, is pretty shit"

Ryder decides to open some of his fan mail as he's bored, when he comes across a letter from Jake a very sick child, who tells Ryder some home truths.

"You mess everything up, I act older than you and I'm only 7. I can't do what my friends do because I'm sick. You don't know his lucky you are"

After reading Jakes whole letter, Ryder wants to talk to him. He tried to call him but Jakes mum, (Scarlett )won't let him talk to Jake. This doesn't stop Ryder from calling Jakes mum over and over to try and get her to talk to Jake. Slowly over the phone calls Scarlett and Ryder start to build up a friendship. Ryder then decides he wants to help Jake see a specialist and help anyway he can because he's mum can't afford to pay for specialists.
Spending time with Jake and his Scarlett, Ryder starts to wonder about his career and if there's any point to it any more.

"There has to come a point when you think Why do I keep playing this, when I no I'm always going to win? Where's the a incentive? Here's the drive?

Ryder is the perfect male character. He's cocky, confident, sexy, arrogant, sweet, charming and totally gorgeous.
The story was very short but fasted paced which pretty much just gave you the back ground of the characters and a little insight to there lives. I can't wait to read the next book as I'm desperate to find out more about Ryder, Scarlett and Jake.
Another great book by a Missy Johnson. It's defiantly got the potential to be her best book/s yet.
If you've never read any of Missys books then I highly recommend you one click them now.

How do you heal after everything has been ripped away from you?
Completely devastated and alone, Tristen cannot fathom life after losing Cami and his unborn child. He attempts to find normality in his broken world but everything seems wrong.
Aria is compelled to help Tristen and cannot escape the undeniable connection she feels for him, even though Cami was one of her closest friends. She tries to help him move forward by befriending him but quickly realizes that there is more.
Tristen and Aria are both struggling to deal with these confusing emotions. Can they find happiness even when they feel utterly broken?
“You being on top of me, naked, doing that turns me the fuck on, Mica.  I’m trying to be a gentleman here, but I am dying to be inside you right now,” I answered.
“Yeah?”
“Hell yeah, baby.”  I moved her a little lower so she was sitting on my hard cock.  She jumped once she felt my undeniable arousal underneath her cheeks.
“Oh!  Oh, I’m sorry!  Does it hurt for me to sit on it?”  She furrowed her brows in worry.
I would laugh if she weren’t dead serious.  Poor thing.  “Does it hurt for your pussy to be sitting on my hard cock? Babe, it only aches because it’s under you and not in you.  Wanna fix that problem?”  I grasped her hips and lifted just a touch so that she could feel me move beneath her slick entrance.  If I wanted to, I could have slid right in; she was slick in her own juices from the orgasm I had just given her.

Texas born and raised, I found my love for dirty books rather recently.  I work in real estate for my day job and I write contemporary romance with a twist of suspense and erotica.  Sinfully, my debut novel was released in June 2014 with Regretfully following up in October of 2014.  Tate’s story, Deceitfully, will finish off the series and will be out in spring of 2015. I get asked a lot about if there’s any connection to Sinfully and my life.  I do go to Las Vegas often but I swear I don’t have as much fun as Payton does.  Although, if I found myself a Tate there, I might change my opinion…

Raced
By
K.Bromberg

Synopsis

The Colton Points of View Collection

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author K. Bromberg comes a companion novella to the best selling Driven Trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed). This novella is a compilation of reader requested scenes from the series retold through the eyes of Colton Donavan.

Colton Donavan lived life in the fast lane, but it took Rylee Thomas to teach him what racing was all about.

Arrogant
Rogue
Broken
Conceited
Dirty-Talking
Rebel
Egomaniacal
Voodooed
Bent
Reckless

You think you know me?

Think again.

*Raced is not a complete re-write of the Driven Trilogy. This companion explores pivotal scenes as well as some new ones written in Colton Donavan’s point of view that were not previously published in Driven, Fueled, and Crashed. Hear his thoughts, experience his inner-turmoil, and laugh with him on his journey as he overcomes his demons and accepts what it means to love.

This novella is for the devoted readers of the Driven series. It is recommended that this companion be read after Driven, Fueled, and Crashed.

Excerpt:

“So, Colton,” she says, breaking through my civil war of thoughts and my absolute focus on her proffered tits and stupendous ass. “What can I do for you?”
Shit, we can start with you on your knees, me on the couch, and your mouth on my cock. The immediate image makes my head spin with need.
“Christ, Rylee!” I bark the words out, trying to stop her stretching, stop my thinking, when I’m the one that’s supposed to be taking control of this conversation so I can prove my point in more ways than one. And hell if every ounce of testosterone in my body says “please don’t stop.” Fuck getting the upper hand in the argument because when all is said and done, all that matters is that I get to bury myself in her regardless of how the point is made.
“What?” She bats her eyelashes again. Innocent façade front and center.
“We need to talk about last night.” I change the subject. Need to think of rainbows and unicorns and shit to calm my dick the fuck down. Allow me to give my apology for last night. Set one wrong to right before diving right into the next with her because deep down I know we are one of those disasters waiting to happen. Beautiful and devastating all at the same time.
The quick fuck I wanted to ease the ache for her turned out to be so much more than that. It’s moved into uncharted territory for me, and no matter which way I look at this, she’s added a complication to my simple, fuck-more-care-less lifestyle. She’s made me want her more than once, made me pursue when I don’t chase, and has me here apologizing when I’m a take-me-as-I-am-or-get-the-hell-out kind of guy.
But fuckin’ A, if complicated is flexible like that, I’ll take it.

Debt Inheritance (Indebted #1)
By
Pepper Winters

Synopsis

“I own you. I have the piece of paper to prove it. It’s undeniable and unbreakable. You belong to me until you’ve paid off your debts.”

Nila Weaver’s family is indebted. Being the first born daughter, her life is forfeit to the first born son of the Hawks to pay for sins of ancestors past. The dark ages might have come and gone, but debts never leave. She has no choice in the matter.

She is no longer free.

Jethro Hawk receives Nila as an inheritance present on his twenty-ninth birthday. Her life is his until she’s paid off a debt that’s centuries old. He can do what he likes with her—nothing is out of bounds—she has to obey.

There are no rules. Only payments.

5* Review

I love dark reads. I've read all Peppers previous books and they've all been brilliant. Shes a amazing author who thinks outside the box and can create amazing plots that are original and gripping.
Debt Inheritance was no different. It has all the suspense  twists, turns and mystery that you expect from Peppers books. It is dark and thrilling and you always have to be ready to expect the unexpected.
Nila Weaver's family is indebted from a contract wrote between 2 families years and year and years ago. To clear the debt the Weavers family promised their first born daughter to the first born son of the Hawks family to pay the debt of their ancestors.
Nila is given to Jethro Hawk on his 29th birthday. She is no longer free. Her life is Jethro's. He owns her -nothing is out of bounds - she has to obey.

THERE ARE NO RULES

Both characters are very well developed. Jethro is very bad, calculating and cold. manipulative cunning and complex. Hes been waiting years to get his property and doesn't waste a minute "playing" with her and making her obey his every command as soon as they meet.
Nila is willful, naive  confused, focused and feisty. She doesn't back down to Jathros commands easily and fights and fights against everything he "asks" he to do  She doesn't care about some centuries old debt. She was such a strong character and i loved the scenes when she is standing up to Jathro and not obeying him like she she is meant too. She want to run and can if she wishes, but at the expensive of her family. So through blackmail she stays.

This is not a romance story at all....yet!!
But you can feel the connection between the couple even though they Nila hates Jathro and Jathro is only meant to like Nila as a play thing that he gets to play with.

The story ends on a big cliff hanger and i cant wait for the next the next book to come out. i want to see if their is any true feelings between the 2 of them and how Jathro will continue to act with Nila if feelings do start developing.

Synopsis

When he walks out the door, she thinks she'll never see him again. Then she finds the note he left on his napkin . . . signed M.

All he wants is one night to worship her. No feelings, no commitment - nothing but pleasure. Every defense mechanism Livy has adopted during her solitary life is at risk of being obliterated by this confounding man. He's obnoxious but well-mannered. He's a gentleman but aloof. He's passionate but emotionless. Yet the fascination is so powerful, Livy can't deny him...or herself

Review

As a massive fan of Jodi's "This Man Series" I was very excited to read her highly anticipated new series "Promised, One Night. " I was also very apprehensive because "This Man Series" is my all time favourite series and I felt that Jodi was going to have a hard job creating a series just as amazing or better than "This Man"
I loved Promised, one night but unfortunately it wasn't as good as This Man. That's not to say that the book wasn't a 5* read because it was it just didn't grip me and knock me about like her previous series.
Jodi has managed to create a extremely passionate , sexy and emotionally draining read. Your be pulled straight in to follow 2 very complex characters on a very amazing journey.
Livy is a very nice girl, who has a bit if spunk. She's very sweet and easy to connect with. She's not had a great life and now lives with her Nana. (Nana is a amazing character. She is so funny and I think most people know somebody like her. Her relationship with George is funny and I loved reading about both of them)
Livy works in a Coffee shop, but also helps her boss cater high class events when she is needed. Livy is working when she meets a mysterious man called "M"
"M" is a very closed off character. He is a complete mystery. He's also very gentlemanly, obnoxious and emotionally switched off to everyone.
"M" feels a connection with Livy immediately, but as he doesn't do relationships he offered her all he knows....One night, 24hours of dirty, steamy sex with himself.
"M" is completely captivating and intriguing. Even though he's very closed off, you will instantly fall in love with him, and his compulsive ways. As he is so closed off, I loved finding out any information about him just to make the connection with him stronger.
The story starts off quite slowly, but I didn't think that was a bad thing. It gave you more time to really get inside the characters minds and understand them better. If the story had jumped straight in and was fast paced, I think you would of lost a lot if the story, background and " special moments" you need to feel connected with the story and characters. Jodi managed to create a perfect buildup, that explodes before your eyes.
The sex scenes were extremely hot and very full on. That will leave you hot and bothered.

The whole story was great. It will keep you guessing to the very end, but will also frustrate the hell out of you. Because this is only book 1 of a 3 part series.
Can't wait to continue with the story.

Release Day Blitz

Inevitable Detour
By
S.R. Grey

  Synopsis

The day my life took an inevitable detour things got a little crazy.

My name is Essalin Brant, but everyone calls me Essa. I attend a small college in a tiny town, and in my twenty-two years of life I’ve never even traveled outside the state of Pennsylvania. You could say my life is pretty boring. I live by the rules. I’m a good girl and nothing exciting ever happens.

But that’s all about to change.

Enter Farren Shaw. Not only is he older and intimidating, but he’s more sure of himself than any 29-year-old man has a right to be. Did I mention that he’s drop-dead gorgeous? Well, he is. He also happens to be my best friend Haven’s brother. And I would be content with just fantasizing about Farren from afar, but when Haven suddenly goes missing, her gorgeous brother is the only one who believes me when I say she was abducted, even though all signs seem to suggest Haven left town willingly.

I know better, though. As does Farren. So when he asks me to accompany him to search for his sister, I accept.

That’s when the real adventure begins.

Our quest to find Haven takes us across the country. And throughout the time we spend together, I find myself falling for Farren . . . falling hard. He's everything I’ve ever wanted. But is he really someone I should fear?

Because aside from making me feel things I’ve never felt before, Farren is hiding something. Something big. What could this stunning man be keeping from me? And why? Is Haven’s disappearance somehow connected to his mysterious job?

All I know is that things are about to get real.

Welcome to the Inevitable Detour that has become my life.

Teaser

5* Review

I was very kindly given a ARC of Inevitable Detour by S R Grey. It was absolute honor to read his book and loved it from start to finish.

Essa Brant lives in a small town and goes to college there. She has never left her tiny town before as her parents are very controlling and even through she's a straight A student her parents want her to keep working harder and harder as nothing is good enough for them. Essa follows everything her parents ask her to, even though she doesn't want to.

Essa and her best friend Haven were planning to visit Farren, Havens brother once there school year is over. Essa has never met Farren but she has always had a crush on him. So when her parents say that she can't go away with Haven for the summer she is devastated.

"I love Haven, and I'd do anything for her. She's certainly done some selfless things for me, no doubt about that. As a result, were close, thicker than thieves some say"

To celebrate their last exams Haven and Essa go on to celebrate with a night out. When out they meet some very gorgeous mysterious men who they like and go home with. When Essa awakes the next day she doesn't feel right, the men from the night before have gone, but so has HAVEN!
This is when the adventure begin

Haven and Farren take off across country to find Haven, but at the same time as finding Haven, are they starting to find love?

"A thrill shoots through me at the thought of spending even a mere minute with Farren. Now there's an inevitable detour I'd like to take"

The story starts with a real nice build up, with a little background about all 3 characters. The story is moving along at a nice pace, then BAM the story really takes off.
Even though Essa is worried about Haven she is happy to finally get to meet Farren. They start to build a friendship over there journey, but Farren is very secretive, especially about his job and Essa knows that Farren is not letting on all he knows about what's happened to Haven and that it has something to do with his job.

" He was in the military for years, special ops. He was discharged over a year ago, he still spends a good deal of time in other countries for his "work." All I know is whatever Farren does he gets paid a lot of money"

Farren is a dream guy. He's cocky, mysterious, stunning, confident and dangerous. He's full of secrets, that you can't help but keep turning he pages to find out more and more about him and his secrets.
The story is very fast paced once Haven is taken and everything that happens in the story is things you need to know about. The book is very serious and full of twists and turns, with slight humour every now and then.

I went through the whole book not knowing what was going to happen. Every time I thought I knew what was happening another twist would happen and I'd be completely wrong. The story is anything but predictable.

The book will capture you and pull you straight in with all the drama, intrigue, sexy ness, mystery and love.

And then there's the ending!!!!!!! All I can say WTF!!! Bring on book 2.
Absolute work of genius. Best book ever by S R Grey. Amazing.

I need book 2 NOW
